On Friday, July 24, prospective Rockets will get an opportunity to do more than just tour UToledo; it’s a chance to explore programs, learn about resources, connect with student organizations and have fun all at once. Starting at 11 a.m. and going to 3 p.m., UToledo’s biggest summer admissions event, Campus Crawl, will turn the main campus into a lively exploration zone, themed around travel and discovery. (For folks interested in the medical sciences, there are optional Health Science Campus activities starting earlier.)
Those who attend will receive a “Rocket passport” and boarding pass with a passport photo, then stamp their way through hands-on activities, academic and student life tabling and exhibits, food trucks on Centennial Mall, yard games, live performances and prize opportunities. Unlike other campus visit events, it’s self-paced, so you can take time to check out what interests you most and bring along family and friends. It’s designed for both first-time visitors and those seeking to learn more as a follow-up to the campus tour.

While this event is new to incoming and prospective students, it’s actually a summer tradition for UToledo’s Division of Enrollment Management. In previous years, it has drawn hundreds of prospective students and families to experience the campus. Past events have featured tie-dye activities, interactions with President James Holloway and tabling by offices such as Accessibility and Disability Resources — blending fun with meaningful connections. What makes Campus Crawl unique from the typical campus visits is its integration of UToledo’s core offerings. Prospective students can actually meet faculty and staff from various colleges, explore programs in everything from natural sciences and mathematics to health professions, and get a feel for daily life as a Rocket. It’s a great opportunity to get questions answered beyond the scripted responses of tour guides. This year, the event directly links to the Health Science Campus, where attendees can tour the Interprofessional Immersive Simulation Center and connect with students in healthcare fields — highlighting the university’s health education.
Campus Crawl brings together efforts to show a range of student-focused areas, from over 350 student organizations through the Office of Student Engagement and Connections, showcasing student development alongside the Division of Student Affairs, and complementing standard recruitment processes like orientation and campus tours to help prospective students envision their success at UToledo.

Even if you’ve visited before, organizers encourage students to return for the deeper academic and resource connections available during the Crawl. Register now for Campus Crawl 2026 through the UToledo Admissions website. Be sure to stop by the Juice House table and find out more about how you can build community on campus, fun activities you can join and professional development and mentorship opportunities you can gain.
For those who can’t make it, the university offers year-round visit options. Can’t wait to see you at the Crawl — Go Rockets!
